Chef Jess Lewis, an alumni of The Art Institute of Washington, initially pursued a career as a savory chef but discovered her innate talent and passion for pastry. Throughout her remarkable journey, she has had the privilege of working alongside renowned culinary figures such as Laurent Lhuillier, Chris Ford, and the Voltaggio brothers, among others. With extensive experience spanning various culinary realms, from catering to fine dining, Jess is adept at handling any culinary challenge that comes her way. In 2013, she brought her vision to life with the establishment of Piped Pastry Shop, offering the concept of fine dining on the go. Jess's talent has been recognized by prominent figures, including the honor of creating desserts for President Barack Obama and his family, as well as numerous notable names in politics. Additionally, she shares her knowledge and passion by hosting virtual pastry classes for corporate clients, displaying her love for teaching. A natural competitor, Jess has triumphed in various culinary competitions, and currently reigns as the Dessert Wars DC regional and National Dessert Wars champion. With an unwavering drive for excellence and a thirst for greater achievements, Chef Jess Lewis continues to pursue new opportunities and strive for culinary greatness in the future.
